Our foundation’s most passionate goal is to initiate a series of dynamic new fun, hands-on educational programs designed to introduce the songs of Mercer, and Berlin, and Gershwin, and Ellington and all our great American songwriters to our children quick, before their ears change! We are determined to convey to our kids that these songs belong to them. They’re not their grandparents’ songs. They are our musical heritage, and we are dedicated to helping children embrace them as their own. To that end we are proudly launching a series of special children’s educational programs providing the study of American Popular Song to our elementary school system.
